Boat Bottom Cleaning
South Florida has some of the fastest and heaviest marine growth rates in the world. Having a boat in the water in South Florida without regular hull cleaning can wreak havoc on your boat's speed, performance, handling, fuel economy, and appearance. Our divers will keep your hull, running gear, and all other underwater surfaces free from hard and soft marine growth. A clean waterline will have your vessel looking great from the dock. Your antifouling paint and Propspeed will last longer with regular bottom cleaning. Our goal is to keep your boat ready for you to enjoy in its best condition at all times.
Zinc/Anode Replacements
When metal is submerged in salt water it can get destroyed by galvanic corrosion or electrolysis if left unprotected by a zinc or aluminum anode. It is important to have a diver inspect your anodes regularly. With each boat bottom cleaning, we clean and inspect your zincs to make sure they are still doing their job to protect your boat. When your zincs are estimated to have 50% or less life left on them, we will safely remove and replace the spent anodes for you.
Underwater Propeller Removal and Installation
If your boat propellers have touched bottom, you likely have a bent or out-of-balance propeller. There is no need to haul your boat out of the water to have your propellers serviced. We can change your propellers underwater right there at your boat slip. We will remove the propellers, transport them for reconditioning, and re-install them underwater. We work with many local propeller shops and can get fast turnaround times. This can be done on most vessels up to 164 feet.
Do not haul your boat out of the water before you talk to us, even if another company has said it's necessary.
